The Futurescape Spells Project (2018)

For one month in the fall of 2018, myself and artists Leila Weefur, Dionne Lee and Olivia Krause each designed a spell for alternate futures to display on different billboards around Oakland, CA.

Streaming live from planet earth. Unhinged from bolts that never existed. Ride chaos and invite the gods of dreaming. Commit magic everyday until all earth beings are free. It's a muscle don't forget. The future is a world without prisons or police and a place where land heals.
